CETLALIC, founded in 1987, is the most progressive community-minded school that combines
intensive Spanish studies with experiential learning about culture, and current political and social justice issues. Grassroots
organizations and others involved in community work are an active part of CETLALIC. We apply Paulo Freire’s methodology
to the teaching of Spanish. CETLALIC is a progressive community that welcomes all students from all nationalities, ethnicities,
races, genders, sexual orientations, religions, ages, etc.
